Trueblood star getting a Divorce

Welp, I guess she has sucked all the blood out of their marriage. Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) is ending her marriage. +TMZ  reports that the True Blood vamp has filed for divorce from her husband, fellow actor Jacob Fishel. The couple had been married for a total of eight years.
The True Blood actress cites the standard “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for the split. But Rutina has a more successful career than Jacob — which likely means she makes a lot more money — so she’s asking that the judge reject any claims Jacob might make to spousal support.
Rutina and Jacob met back when they were both students at Juilliard, and wed in June 2005 — right after graduation.
Back in 2011, the Bon Temps bartender-turned-vamp gushed that her hubby was “one of the most
amazing human beings I’ve met on this earth.” She raved about how completely Jacob supported her in everything she did.

“He’s smart, he’s talented, and he’s a gentleman. He’s not that guy that’s trying to hit on you. He doesn’t try. He doesn’t have to do anything. He just has to stand there and you’re like, ‘Ohhh, those blue eyes. I’m done.’ There are not a lot of good people out there. I’m very lucky that I met him, we fell in love and six years in we’re married and we’re going strong. It’s kind of amazing how time flies when you’re happy.”
Two years later, their fairytale romance isn’t looking so rosy. Sometimes being in love just sucks.
