Chile well this season on Basketball's Wives is really going to be a crying PICKLE.
Evelyn Lozada’s split from Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson after he allegedly head butted her last summer was very public and painful, but as we can now see from a new Basketball Wives promo, that was only part of Ev’s greif. Few people knew that just days after splitting from Chad, Evelyn lost her brother-in-law, Anthony Ochoa, to cancer.
Calling Anthony her “brother,” Evelyn tells her mother about how “dark” she felt following the double loss in this new sneak peek for the hit VH1 show.
“It's just like the timing is crazy," Lozada says. "It's like two of my best friends just gone. Which feels f—d up. You know?”
While Evelyn’s mom, Sylvia Ferrer, clearly understands her daughter’s pain, she also offers words of encouragement and inspiration, reminding reality star Evelyn just how strong she is.
“It's going to hurt for a while, but you're going to bounce back — you always do," she says.
