Bethenny's Talk Show Cancelled!!!!!!!!

Let me just start off saying that I really thought Bethenny's Show was good. I know she was kinda corny from time to time but I really thought she had a good thing going. I mean all the Guest that she had on the show was really good. I guess you can't win with these crazy ratings. I guess that Omarosa really knew what she was talking about. I bet that Jill from "The Real Housewives of NewYork" is jumping for joy that she is off tv. 

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

“We are incredibly proud of the creativity, passion and professionalism Bethenny and her staff brought to daytime each and every day and look forward to finishing out the season with more great original episodes,” said a spokesperson for producer Telepictures (a division of Warner Bros. TV). “While we are disappointed not to be able to bring the series back for a second season, we remain convinced that Bethenny has a unique voice and that she will continue to be successful in the future.”

Frankel added: “I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures. My entire staff worked so hard and made every day so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day.”

The show had been on the bubble all season as it failed to draw a large enough total audience to insure it would be renewed. What was working was Frankel’s pull among the key demographic of women 25 to 54, who showed a lot of loyalty to her and the show.

The show had a season to date average rating in households of 0.9 (about 1.15 million viewers a day), which makes it among the lowest rated syndicated talk shows, only beating The Test and Tricia most weeks. Bethenny, however, had a strong 0.7 rating in the key demo.

Bethenny’s 0.7 demo matched Queen Latifah‘s first-season ratings, but Frankel’s show was far behind Latifah’s in total audience. Latifah is averaging more than 1.5 million viewers a day.

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter this was an economic decision that Telepictures had to make. Frankel and DeGeneres was also profit participants in the show, as were others.

In recent weeks, Telepictures had been trying to find a cable outlet to carry Bethenny in addition to the show being syndicated as a way to generate more revenue and make the entire package viable.  Apparently they were not able to find that second run, which doomed the show.

The Fox station group had tested Bethenny last summer and gotten a similar result. Total household viewership was not impressive but the key demos were. Bethenny has a big following among women from her appearances on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York, other shows, books and her line of Skinny Girl products.

Sources say the Fox station group had told Telepictures they would continue to carryBethenny for a second season in the biggest markets, with the costs involved in the show that was not enough.

Arsenio Hall returns to late night

Well Arsenio is back and he will be back tonight. Are you ready to see him again? Do we really care? Have he been gone too long?

Arsenio Hall made history in the early '90s as the first national African-American late night TV talk show host.

Aimed at a hip, young demographic, "The Arsenio Hall Show" was famous for its trademark "woof woof" audience chant and never-know-who-might-stop-by guest list. The show ran from 1989 to 1994 and boasted memorable moments, some of which have become a part of pop culture lore: Bill Clinton playing the saxophone during the '92 campaign; Magic Johnson's first interview after being diagnosed with HIV; and Hall's tense show the night the Los Angeles riots broke out.

On Monday, nearly 20 years after his original run, the 57-year-old entertainer heads back to TV with a new show, "Arsenio." Where has he been? How will he carve out his own niche in a very crowed late night field that includes Leno, Fallon, Letterman, Kimmel and Stewart? I want to do all those things that I wish my dad could have done with me. My mom and my dad worked very hard when I was young; I was a latch-key kid. I not only wanted to have a kid; I wanted to do it a certain way.

KRIS-- Kris Jenner Talk Show

Well, Well, Well that Kris (Kardashian) Jenner has hit the daytime talk show circuit. Will she have what it takes to take on the daytime crew, that is non- reality?  Kris Jenner's long-touted new daytime talk show, Kris, hit FOX airwaves on July 15, kicking off the program’s six-week mid-summer trial period. Kris seems super stoked about her new endeavor, but were her fans as enthusiastic? There’s one way to find out. Let’s go to the ratings!

The numbers are in, and it looks like Kris did just fine—even without trotting out Kim Kardashian’s new baby as a publicity stunt!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show’s first broadcast beat out time slot competition Katie, Steve Harvey and daytime mainstay Dr. Phil in Kris’s hometown of  Los Angeles. The show was reportedly the winner among women 25-54 and 18-49, which made Kris the top dog in the 3 p.m. hour in that city.

Kris also did well in the other major test markets of New York, Dallas and Philadelphia, though it faced stiff competition from another new entry into the daytime TV race, The Real.

During this summer run, five Fox stations are testing out the talk show, in the hopes of launching it in syndication in 2014. We’re only two days in, so it’s way too early to see how it’s really going, but these early reports seem to be good news for Kris! Let’s see if she can keep it up.

New talk show: Tiny Tonight

Chile lets get right into it. I see anything that Tameka "tiny" Harris puts her mind to, it happens. Now you know on her reality series on VH1 "Family Hustle" she talks about having a talk show and we all know her best friend and hairstylist Shakina was acting a fool cause she wanted to be on the show. Well it has happened. Tiny will be hosting her own talk show and it will be on VH1 on December 9 for a one hour special. i am guessing if it goes well it will probably be more shows. Alongside her will be Ms  dot com herself Tamar Braxton, Trina, and this chick Claudia Jordan. So whatever happened to nikki nicole? You know she is on Kandi's web show "Kandi Koated Nights", Now this is the Peppermint Tea right here, I know she filmed the pilot with Tiny some months back, chile THE SHADE IS REAL in show business, I guess she traded her for this other chick Claudia Jordan.

Also what in the world is that Shakina going to be doing, because I did see some behind the scenes shots with her getting all dolled up. Lawd I hope this wont be one big hot ghetto mess. Lets bow our heads in prayer. (lol)
