Well now this is something that we have been missing in the TV circuit.
The Underground Kings” is “The Wire” meets “New York Undercover”
fused with “Scandal” and “The Black List” . . . Are you ready????? Now if you are a fan of any of those shows you will love this. created and featuring award winning director Skye Dennis and executive produced by his 1
st
cousin NBA “All Star” Richard “Rip” Hamilton, will hit the internet
January 1, 2014 (5:00pm E. S. T.). Ready (and willing) to please crime
show junkies everywhere (although certainly not your mama’scrime vs cop
show), this long awaited production picks up where: the poetic
authenticity, social commentary, logic, sexiness, suspense, intensity
and intrigue of “The Wire” ended. With a backdrop of Philadelphia, “T.
U. K.’s” is the premiere show of unwavering explorations of a city in
crisis and its subtle portrayals of those affected. The explosive
beginning of this series starts with a Harrisburg PA police officer
struggling to balance work and family (as with most).
On a day starting
out typical, understated hints quickly turn into noticeable trouble
when this officer finds out his partner of ten years was set up (killed)
by a collaboration of dirty cops and crime bosses. With no other
choice, he takes on a dual life going undercover in the city of “T. U.
K.’s.” With a strategic plan in mind, his immediate life purpose and
goal is to expose internal police corruption and underworld connections.
Since many National and International fans have an unquenchable
appetite for police dramas; this is your dose from veteran award winning
actors: Christopher Mann (best known for his role as Councilman Tony
Gray on “The Wire” amongst many television, film and theatrical roles),

appeared in many television shows and films), John Canada Terrell

Heartbeats” and other film and television works), Omilio Sparks (actor
and Hip Hop artist signed personally by Jay Z), Sultry Neo-Soul Artist
Jaguar right, American Award Winner Robert X. Golphin (best known as
feature in The Wire as well as, Dunbar Reed in the “The Great Debaters”
