Law & Order: SVU” caught flack for its Rihanna and Chris Brown episode that tackled the sensitive issue of domestic violence. Maybe Law & Order will do a better job when they cover Trayvon Martin and Paula Deen in the same upcoming episode.
Executive producer Warren Leight often scours headlines for controversial social issues to cover. According to Leight, the Trayvon Martin episode caused divisions between the cast.

Paula Deen Endorsements Yanked Away!

 

I guess Paula Deen will go sit on her front porch and sell her cookware at the Flea Market. I bet she will think long and hard before she uses that "N" word.

The fallout from Paula Deen’s admitted use of the N-word and racial insensitivity continues now that the TV chef has lost two more endorsements. Deen, 66, has been dropped by Target and Home Depot after already being dismissed by Walmart, Smithfield Foods and Caesars Entertainment.
“We have made a decision to phase out the Paula Deen merchandise in our stores as well as on Target.com,” Target said in a statement.
US Weekly later confirmed that Home Depot said it would no longer carry Deen’s cookware products.
In addition to the two retail stores, the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, which makes the diabetes drug Victorza, said it was suspending its relationship with Deen. Deen has type-2 diabetes and is the company’s spokeswoman.
